Autism Self Advocacy Network

The Autism Self Advocacy Network is an organization that seeks to advance the principles of the disability rights movement with regard to autism. ASAN believes that the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights, and opportunities. They work to empower autistic people across the world to take control of their own lives and the future of our common community and seek to organize the autistic community to ensure our voices are heard in the national conversation about us.

Their activities include public policy advocacy, the development of autistic cultural activities, and leadership training for autistic self-advocates. They also provide information about autism, disability rights, and systems change to the public through a number of different educational, cultural, and advocacy related projects.

Diagnostic Clinic Search

It can be especially difficult for adults, people of color, girls, women, and non-binary individuals to receive the evaluation they deserve. That's why we are currently creating a database of all current diagnostic centers around the United States that we would recommend.
